Lenny the pug

Since one year and a half, my family and I have a dog. He has been my second pet after my turtle and his name is Lenny. He is a black pug... Yes, I know: THEY ARE SO ADORABLE! They have a really special personality, althought they have serious health problems, but in my case my dog is good, he is well behaved and we love him.

My little sister has been always a fan of dogs. Every birthday she asked for one, but my mom told her "It is the dog or me, not both of us". Until one christmas, my sister's fathers convinced her to have one, and Lenny came to our lives to stay.

Pugs are a chinese breed of dog very known for their small and compact size and their wrinkled faces. These dogs are perfect for live in apartments because they are easy to tired when they run. They are very sweet with the persons who take care of them. My pug, for example, is always at the side of whoever moves in the house, like when my mom made beakfast at 6 o'clock, or when my sister goes to the bathroom, or when my brother studies.

Before Lenny arrived I wanted to adopted a street pet, and when I knew we are gonna have a pug, I got very angry because I knew pugs have problems to breath, and also to eat for their small noses and mouths very close to their brains, but Lenny is healthy and he never has had problems.

I fell in love with my pug since the moment I saw him. I love to sleep with him, to play with him in the yard and to take care him. Now he has almost 2 years old and he is really fat. Pugs usually are fat. Soon, we will have to breed him and we'are gonna have a baby pug, so I'm excited about that. I am a pug lover!
