Summer holidays are coming

Imagen
For this summer, I just expect to travel a lot. The only problem is I don't have any idea where I'll go. The only thing I'm sure of, is that I'm going to my scout camp on january 7 (and I'll have the crazy "first days" I had told you on my last post), and I'll be back to Santiago on january 20. This year is the first time we are going a little far away than the others summer camps: to Coñaripe, at Los Rios region. Then, I hope my mother surprised me and my brothers with a travel where I don't have to spend my money, because I'm saving it for a journey with my boyfriend. Last year, me and my family went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil so I would like to go to a paradise place like that, looking for relax. But maybe I would be asking my mom a lot... hahaha The last thing I will do on holidays is travel with my boyfriend Polo. This year we would like to go "backpacking" from Santiago to Chiloé, making stops along the way. Already in Chiloé...

PARTY IN THE NATURE

Imagen
The best party I've ever had was "the first days before camp" in 2016. I'm part of a scout group and every january we have our traditional Summer Camp at chilean south. But 3 days before all the childs arrive to the place, the "guides" and the over 18 persons go to the site to clean it and build a dump and wooden bathrooms, but also to have THE BEST PARTY OF THE YEAR! Maybe you think it's irresponsible and risky because there is a huge river next to us and most of time we are drinking alcohol and smoking things, but we never have had any problems in those days, and when the rest of the group arrive, we are sober and ready to do camp activities. "The fist days" (that's how we called) of 2016 were my favorites. The journey started in Central Station, where we took the bus to San Fabian de Alico, and then we had to take another bus to the camp place. In the second bus the party started... we took the beers and the melon with wine. Alread...

A confuse future

Imagen
As a future journalist, I consider really important the communication in their different platforms, specially the visual and audiovisual area and not just because I think it's interesting, but also cause I come throw a school that empowers your artistic capacities. According to my interests, in the future I would consider taking a photography professional class, probably here in Chile, but if I had the possibility (and the money) I would love to try to get to know another place in the world in order to mix my learning with different cultures and people. I have been thinking in Spain,  for its recognized qualities in journalism and audiovisual- It's also important to mention that on a past post in my blog, I had told you I'm interested in culture and spreading the arts to the people, so I really would like to take a Cultural Management Major here in ICEI. That would help me to make real my dream job. All of this disciplines would be for complement my profession as...

My dream job

Imagen
When I left the school I was very young and I'm not sure if I was prepared to take the difficult decision to decide: What am I going to do with the rest of my life? So, based in I used to love writing and reading, and because I knew I had an outgoing personality, I chose to study journalism, and I'm not regret about that. But now, thinking what other thing I would like to dedicate the rest of my life to, I would be a professional dancer. Since I have 8 years old, I've danced in the Contemporary Dance Group of my school (now with the ex-students) and it's something I really love to do...working with my body and discovering my limits. If I was a dancer, I would travel around the world with a professional Dance Company. But now, coming back to reality,  I just think in "work the dance" from my area as a journalist, and I would love to work in a culture center like Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM), creating culture for the people, like dance, theater or...

Lenny the pug

Imagen
Since one year and a half, my family and I have a dog. He has been my second pet after my turtle and his name is Lenny. He is a black pug... Yes, I know: THEY ARE SO ADORABLE! They have a really special personality, althought they have serious health problems, but in my case my dog is good, he is well behaved and we love him. My little sister has been always a fan of dogs. Every birthday she asked for one, but my mom told her "It is the dog or me, not both of us". Until one christmas, my sister's fathers convinced her to have one, and Lenny came to our lives to stay. Pugs are a chinese breed of dog very known for their small and compact size and their wrinkled faces. These dogs are perfect for live in apartments because they are easy to tired when they run. They are very sweet with the persons who take care of them. My pug, for example, is always at the side of whoever moves in the house, like when my mom made beakfast at 6 o'clock, or when my sister goes to the b...
